OT Coaching
Helping you get back into the everyday activities that matter to you, especially when mental health challenges make things feel harder.
Helping you get back into the everyday activities that matter to you, especially when mental health challenges make things feel harder.
When mental health challenges make daily life feel overwhelming, our unique blend of occupational therapy and coaching offers both emotional support and practical strategies to help you find your way forward.
We focus on the everyday activities that matter most to you — whether that’s getting out of the house, reconnecting with others, pursuing hobbies, or managing responsibilities. Together, we explore what’s feeling stuck and support you to move toward what feels meaningful.
Using a combination of evidence-based OT tools and collaborative coaching techniques, we’ll help you navigate low mood, anxiety or emotional overwhelm in a way that works with your nervous system — not against it.
Our approach is simple: what matters to you, matters to us. We’ll begin with a conversation about what’s most important in your life and identify the barriers in your way. Then, together, we’ll create personalised, doable strategies that support your wellbeing and help you build a more balanced, fulfilling daily life.
This might include things like:
Developing coping mechanisms for anxiety and emotional dysregulation in everyday situations
Learning practical tools to manage worry, overwhelm or emotional ups and downs as they come up in daily life.
Improving skills needed for daily tasks, fostering independence and a sense of accomplishment
Building confidence through small, achievable steps in activities like cooking, organising or managing time.
Gradually re-introducing activities that bring you joy and a sense of purpose
Reconnecting with hobbies, interests or social roles in a way that feels safe, doable and meaningful.
Establishing routines and structures to support motivation and reduce feelings of overwhelm associated with depression
Creating a gentle, sustainable rhythm to your days that can help you feel more in control and less weighed down.
Exploring sensory strategies to manage emotional intensity and promote calm
Discovering how things like movement, sound, touch or scent can soothe your nervous system and improve focus.
Strengthening self-awareness and emotional insight
Learning to recognise what you’re feeling and why, so you can respond with more clarity, confidence and self-compassion.
